According to My Disability Jobs, the unemployment for neurodivergent adults runs at least as high as 30-40%. In 2021, Zavikon was founded by Rebecca Beam, who is now an inspiration for the neurodivergent community. Their mission is to “match qualified candidates with disabilities or those who are neurodivergent with employers who believe inclusion is the future.” Through their various services, recruitment, and overall advocacy for the neurodivergent and disabled community, Zavikon pushes to ensure no one is excluded from a career opportunity.
