Sponsors of the Future aims to create programs that equip children for life beyond school.
The most impactful skills that those with neurodivergent difficulties need are often those that regular school systems and medical professionals are not equipped to provide or claim are “impossible” to achieve. Rather than leaving families to learn on their own, SoF put the pieces together to facilitate independent lifestyles.
There are some critical skills that everyone needs to learn regardless of their age.
SoF seeks to design programs that tackle anything from building social skills and self-esteem to learning how to complete daily tasks and handle everyday situations beyond a classroom setting. Independence starts with inner power and practical skills.
Examples of our program offerings include:

Building self-esteem and being confident about who you are.

Understanding social rules and growing social skills.

Practicing effective grocery shopping, cooking meals, and operating with kitchen safety.

Learning how to navigate a neighborhood or use a GPS to get to the desired location.

Adapting to physical changes and practicing self-care.

Facilitating and understanding good sportsmanship.

Utilizing digital safety and conversing with friends and acquaintances through a variety of media (appropriately).

Introducing career paths that align with an individual's own passions and connecting them to corresponding mentors.
